Students perform better when parents and guardians are actively involved in their learning. That’s why we encourage educators to use Renaissance Home Connect. Home Connect provides families with real-time information on their child’s progress in Accelerated Reader and/or Star Assessments.
Educators can sign parents and guardians up to receive emails about their child’s Accelerated Reader activity or performance on Star Assessments in two easy steps:
- District- and school-level administrators set the Home Connect Email Preference from the Renaissance Home page.
- Teachers can then generate Send Home Letters for their students’ parents or guardians, giving them instructions on how to access Home Connect and how to sign up to receive email notifications.
As students complete Star Assessments or Accelerated Reader quizzes, parents and guardians will be notified automatically via email. For Star Reading and Star Math results, parents and guardians will receive the recently updated Star Family Report, which includes a wealth of helpful information.
