Freckle is no exception, and these updates are meant to make Freckle an even better fit for teachers everywhere. Read more to see how the teacher dashboard has been enhanced for an easy-to-navigate back-to-school.

Increased state standards alignment

It is important that students are practicing in the way that teachers want. To that end, Freckle ensures that the practice experience is catered to Common Core or specific state standards. With this update, Virginia grades 6–8 and Oklahoma grades 6–8 are now available in the standards alignment. To see if Freckle is aligned to your state’s standards, check your setup menu from the teacher dashboard.

Upgraded reports

The Math Report Card has been redesigned for a simpler experience. Math teachers with multiple classes can now filter report cards by grade or course. In addition, the Math Report Card will surface skill-specific student performance and data.

A Skills Progress Report has been added to the reports tab. This report will demonstrate student progress through Focus Skills and high school courses when that content is released next month.

The Standards Report has received a redesign for easier navigation. Standards can be organized by domain, the report can be filtered by course or grade, and it will demonstrate student progress through high school courses when that content is released next month.

New homepage

If you have logged in to the teacher dashboard lately, you may have noticed a new homepage. The new homepage shows recent assignment activity in your class and provides class-wide key performance indicators.

Broad navigation improvements

The teacher dashboard has been adjusted to provide smoother navigation:

• The Help Center has been moved to the top bar
• The school tab has been removed to reduce clutter
• The premium indicator has been simplified
• To avoid possible confusion, assignments are no longer numbered upon creation
