The Math and ELA Standards pages are designed to help teachers quickly create assignments targeting specific grade-level standards, or they can be used to assign Focus Skills. This brief video will walk you through the Math Standards page. The ELA Standards page works identically.
If you are using Freckle Premium, you are able to make the most of this feature with unlimited assignments. This will provide the flexibility to create various targeted assignments based on the needs of your students.
Focus Skills practice mode
For math teachers, Freckle Premium with Star Math enables the Focus Skills practice mode for your students. With Focus Skills practice mode, teachers do not even need to create assignments. Students can simply log in and go to Focus Skills, and teachers can be confident their students are working on essential grade-level skills.
Summer learning
Summer is a great time for students to grow in areas they may have missed during the school year, and Freckle serves as the perfect practice tool for math and ELA that can accommodate teachers who are teaching summer school or are looking for a hands-off solution during the break.
Teachers should take advantage of the various engagement resources made available in the new Summer Resources Kit, as well as make use of the new Implementation Guide if they are teaching summer school.
