Our goal

Representation matters and it’s important that students see themselves in our products. But it’s not just about how much we represent different people; it’s also about how well we represent them. As we continue to improve representation of historically marginalized people in our content, the Content Quality Advisory Committee provides insight to help ensure that representation is accurate, sensitive, and up lifting.

Renaissance Content Quality Advisory Committee - what we do

Our Committment

Renaissance is committed to creating and sharing content that is inclusive and reflects the diverse communities and students we serve. The Content Quality Advisory Committee advises Renaissance on best practices for developing engaging, appropriate, and culturally relevant content for a global audience.

Our work

The committee meets regularly to present written qualitative feedback related to DEI and appropriateness and discusses this feedback in detail with Renaissance’s content development team.

In addition to providing feedback on Renaissance content, the committee discusses current research as it relates to culturally relevant pedagogy and identifies responsive practices for students across different backgrounds.
